Yes you heard correct!! It is fairly easy, and I personally think its just as yummy if not yummier than the KIND nut bars.
So what you will need:
1 Cup of Almonds
1/2 Cup of sunflower seeds
1 Cup of Peanut Butter (I used pure, crunchy peanut butter; you can also substitute it with almond butter)
1 Tsp of Sea Salt
Optional: Honey or Agave (I didn't use either, the dark chocolate took care of my sweet tooth :) )
1/2 Lb of Dark Chocolate
1 TBSP of Coconut Oil
1.So right off the bat, I got a pot going on low heat with coconut oil in it. Then I added the dark chocolate to melt down, stir occasionally.
2. While thats going, I put my Nut mixture ingredients in a food processor and pulsed it, to break it up, & mix it together. (IF you don't have a food processor you can cut up the almonds just to add different shapes/sizes and mix the rest in a bowl with your hands).
3. In a square pan, I put the nut mix in first, pressed it down firm.
4. Then once your chocolate mixture is melted pour that over the nut mixture, and freeze it for 30 mins to set.
5. Once set, flip pan over, and cut into desirable shape/size for your bars.
Honestly, this is super yummy, and you can make your own. I used a smaller square pan, so the nut mixture layer, and chocolate layer is thicker. You can use a bigger one to make thinner bars if you prefer.
