Dr. Kent Werner, MD PhD
Kent Werner is a Chief Resident of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins University. He attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, graduating with a BS in Chemistry and Spanish.
Dr. Werner studied Cellular and Molecular Medicine at Johns Hopkins University and received his MD and PhD in Neuroscience in 2012.
He has twelve years of experience in biomedical research and seven years in clinical development including frontotemporal dementia. His areas of research include sleep and sleep disorders, dementia, and neurodegenerative conditions.
Dr. Werner is an avid runner, having completed in countless races and marathons. He holds several race records in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. He is passionate about all things related to fitness, health, and optimizing performance.
Dr. Arthur J. Ting, MD
Dr. Arthur Ting has specialized in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery in Fremont, California for over 30 years, treating professional, collegiate and high school athletes nationwide. During this time Dr. Ting has been professionally associated with the groups that have provided the care for SF 49ers, Oakland Raiders, the SF Giants and has been a medical participant in both the NBA and NFL Scouting Combine. Currently Dr. Ting serves as an Orthopedic Consultant for for the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the Sacramento Kings of NBA.
Dr. Ting is internationally known and recognized in the motorsports world for his skills as an orthopaedic surgeon. He has been certified through the FIM (Federation De Internationale De Motocyclisme) and has served as the Chief Medical Officer for the US MotoGP Laguna Seca Motor Speedway. Dr. Ting was a member of the medical staff at the ’84 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, ’90 Goodwill Games Seattle, Washington, ’93 Pan Am Games Winnipeg, Canada and USA vs England track and field dual meet Gateshead England.
In addition he has made numerous presentations internationally and has authored numerous scientific articles.
Dr. Ting graduated from Occidental College and received his medical degree from St Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic training at USC and his sports medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Sports Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Ting has received numerous awards for his contribution to community athletics and remains one of a very elite group who have been honored in both Central Coast Section, “Distinguished Service Award 2003”, and North Coast Section, “NCS Honor Physician Award 1991” which essentially covers the entire Bay Area for high school sports. Dr. Ting was awarded “ 21st District Assembly Distinguished Service Award 2002” by the State of California for his donated services.
Dr. Ting prides himself on being at the cutting edge and has recently brought the first robot used in orthopaedics to Stevenson Surgery Center in Fremont.
Dr Ting is a California native and resides in Woodside. He and his wife Marilyn have three sons Richard and twins Brandon and Ryan.
Dr. John Grady, DMD
Dr. John Grady has led a state-of-the-art orthodontics practice for the past 30 years. He attended undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated first in his class. He then attended dental school at the University of Pittsburgh and again finished near the top of his class with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
After completing dental school, Dr. Grady went on to specialize in orthodontics, taking his residency courses at the State University of New York in Buffalo. He finished his residency work with a perfect 4.0.
Dr. Grady has been practicing orthodontics since 1987. Always active in continuing education, he has treated his patients with state-of-the-art orthodontist techniques since he began private practice.
Dr. Grady lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is blessed with a beautiful wife and four beautiful children. He is involved in several charitable organizations, including Make-A-Wish and Smiles Change Lives. In addition, Dr. Grady is a board member of Imani Christian Academy, which educates and serves underprivileged African American youth in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Grady is an avid endurance athlete who enjoys skiing, running, and rowing. He holds two masters world records on the rowing machine (erg) and has completed Ironman Florida, as well as numerous marathons. He is passionate about fitness and nutrition, and enjoys researching the best ways to optimize health and performance.
